• Very quick and easy to install - no special tools or skills needed.
  
  

• Thatch tiles can either be clipped over a 8mm (1/4") steel rod or nailed with 50mm (2") nails or stapled to wooden battens.
  
  

• The minimum suggested pitch should be 30 degrees, but a steeper pitch will increase water run-off and longevity.
  
  

• The thatch tiles are installed in layered courses. (See Sketch 2)
  
  

• Full instructions for the DIY customer.

-- Fire Proof --

Also available: A fire proof thatch tile. The thatch tile is vacuum treated with "THATCHBOR" fire retardant. Anti fungicide and preservatives are added to the Thatchbor chemicals to increase longevity with up to 50%.

4 to 6 years in wet, humid climates, twice as long in hot dry climates.
